The state government has made significant efforts to ensure that all children have access to education. One of the key features of the RTE Act is the provision of free and compulsory education. This was particularly important for children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The law requires private schools to reserve 25% of their places for children from economically disadvantaged sectors. This has given many children from disadvantaged backgrounds access to quality education in private schools. The government has increased the number of schools and taken measures to improve the quality of education in the state.
