The Life Insurance Corporation of India have created a newly scholarship in their golden jubilee, in order to provide financial support to all the economically backward students. Objective of LIC Scholarship
The main aim of this scheme is to support all the Indian students who are facing trouble to pursue their higher education. With the implementation of this initiation, students will be able to get financial aid which will help them in getting higher education opportunities, which make their future. The scholarship is awarded to students who perform very well in their studies in all institutions and universities in India. It will also cover technical and vocational courses in industrial training institutes/industrial training centers affiliated with the National Vocational Training Council for degree level classes.
Benefits of LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2023
- There are so many benefits under this scheme, and some of them are given below:
- Only those students will be benefits from this scheme, who are in government or private collages in India.
- Under this scheme, each beneficiary will get amount of 20,000 on monthly basis by the authorities.
- The amount will be distributed in three installments, directly to all the beneficiaries bank accounts.
Eligibility Criteria of the Scheme
- Parents/Guardians of the applicant who have an annual income (from all sources) of no more than Rs. 2,00,000 per year are eligible to apply for a scholarship, and also this scholarship is not available for postgraduate studies.
- Those girl students are eligible to get benefits from this scheme, who have passed the class X exam (or equivalent exam) with at least 60% (or equivalent grade).
- And most important if any misrepresentation given by the candidates, the result of this will be a cancellation of their scholarship.
- Only those students can apply for this initiation who have desire continue their studies can only apply for the scholarship.
- And all those students are eligible, who have passed the Classes X and XII (or equivalent) exam in the 2018-19 academic year with a score of at least 60% (or equivalent grade).
- Those students who are willingly wishing to pursue a Diploma or ITI or pursuing advanced or postgraduate studies in any discipline at a private university are eligible to apply for a the Renewal of LIC Scholarship.
